The term ‘change management’ is becoming outdated

The term ‘change management’ is fast becoming outdated.

We believe that the key to successful change is dialogue to align people behind the change and create the right context for it. With conversation after conversation after conversation. Hundreds of them, that so often go unnoticed, so that change happens without much hurrah.

And that dialogue is meaningful vs change being a ‘tell.’

So we could say that ‘change management’ is all about facilitating dialogue to create the right context for change.

You can’t manage change and it isn’t linear, because our organisations are so complex.

What does it mean to you?
