Client challenge
The pause of a major digital transformation programme exposed several challenges in the organisation’s ability to deliver change effectively. Leadership recognised the need for a Transformation Office but wanted a fit-for-purpose, non-bureaucratic approach—one that provided the right level of support without becoming overly complex, as some had experienced in the past.
What we did
Conducted discovery and current-state analysis – Interviewed C-suite and senior leaders to uncover root causes of delivery challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Developed tailored options – Created ‘gold, silver, and bronze’ models, offering varying levels of investment and commitment for leaders to consider.
Designed a lightweight, high-impact solution – The chosen ‘silver’ approach provided a streamlined but effective model, combining upskilling of internal teams with targeted strategic consultancy for a set number of days per month.
Embedded a culture of continuous improvement – Applied lean and agile principles to create an adaptable environment where the Transformation Office evolved based on organisational needs rather than industry templates. Improvements in project delivery were actively measured.
Business outcomes
- Leadership alignment and clarity on organisational priorities and goals, and greater ownership to create a shared future. Increased collaboration, more openness in ways of working, a growing ability to channel disagreement towards problem solving
- Provided clarity of strategic focus to people, in a way that everyone could see themselves in the broader organisational ambitions.
[We had engaged consultants before but the cost had escalated and the results were lacking]. Uuna bought in the capability we needed to get to results quickly.
